Slow Cooker Garlic Chicken

Oh hello there…
We meet again…

Let me introduce my friend, the crock pot. If you don't have one already or don't use yours, you're clearly not living life to the fullest. I wish I used mine more but I've had trouble finding some good recipes that are at least moderately healthy.

This one fits the bill. AND it's simple to make.

Plus, wine!
We're light on pictures this week cause it was just me and I was running out to the gym.

I used half an onion because Mom isn't a fan and half the garlic because we didn't use as much chicken as the recipe called for.

After I browned the chicken. I wish I had waited maybe 2 minutes longer. It looked pretty crispy here but I forgot that the steam from the crock pot would make it less crispy over time...

…as seen here.

All done!

So easy! And it made it's own sauce! With the flour and wine it made this pretty delish gravy while I wasn't even looking. I love chicken cooked with wine so I was pretty sold on this recipe. Mom said it was just OK. I think for the amount of time and effort it took to make this, I'd say it's a do-again. It's not often you find a pretty clean eating crock pot recipe that doesn't take forever. I put it on high for 3 1/2 hours but it also had a time for the low setting that would be perfect for making before work.

Stuck to the script: ooo about 85% oops!
